Mr. Galterio is the managing partner of the firm and general counsel to the firm’s high volume collections operations.
Mr. Galterio joined Jaffe & Asher in 1986 and became a member of the firm in 1994. He received his law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center (1986), and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, cum laude(1983). Mr. Galterio is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Mr. Galterio's experience in complex commercial litigation is comprehensive. During his years with Jaffe & Asher, he has handled a wide variety of sophisticated civil matters in both state and federal courts, as well as arbitration forums. He possesses extensive experience in civil appeals, as well as in bench and jury trials. He is also highly versed in all aspects of family law.
