Mr. Asher is a founding partner of the firm. In 1974, he established Jaffe & Asher together with Peter A. Jaffe, who has since retired from the firm.
Mr. Asher received his law degree from Harvard Law School (1969), and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School (1966). He also attended the London School of Economics. Mr. Asher is a member of the New York bar, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Mr. Asher possesses almost 40 years experience in complex commercial litigation, corporate, and transactional practice. He has represented and counseled individuals, partnerships, and corporations in a vast array of sophisticated civil matters, from trials and appeals to mergers and acquisitions.
