Aleksandr Altshuler has been with Jaffe & Asher LLP since 2013, having previously worked as an Associate at Segal Gebski PLLC. He is a Senior Counsel in the firm’s Creditor’s Rights and Commercial Litigation Group. Mr. Altshuler has extensive experience in various areas of legal practice, including: creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, business and corporate law, as well as real estate transactions. For the past three and a half years, Mr. Altshuler has specialized in Lender Liability and Workout Litigation and has developed intricate knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Truth in Lending Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, as well as various state consumer protection laws. Mr. Altshuler graduated magna cum laude B.B.A. in Finance from Bernard Baruch College in 2007 and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2011, where he served as the President of the Business Law Association. Mr. Altshuler is admitted to practice in New York State and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and the Eastern Districts of New York.
